INFRASOUND SENSORS

MB3aPP - INFRASOUND SENSOR WITH TWO PRESSURE OUTPUTS

MB3aPP infrasound sensor

Seismo Wave has developed a new version of the MB3a analog infrasound sensor in order to record high amplitude atmospheric events. The MB3aPP has two pressure outputs, which are respectively set at 2mV/Pa and 20mV/Pa.

This configuration greatly increases the dynamic range of the sensor by going from +/- 1,200 Pa to +/- 10,550 Pa.

MB3aPP makes it possible to measure high intensity atmospheric events at a distance closer to the infrasound emission zone.
